Phone Settings Help - They Do Not Retroactively Clean Files
Turning off location services reduces future geotags. It does not rewrite videos already on your camera roll. Treat settings as prevention and metadata removal as remediation for files you already shot.
Also note: screenshots of maps, street signs, or Wi‑Fi SSIDs in the video picture are not metadata. Those require editing the visual content. Metadata tools only remove what is stored as tags.
